This post is just a follow up to my post earlier this month on the election results. In that post I basically said that I felt that the outcome was good for humanity. I still feel this way but I want to clarify this a bit. Here are some of my thoughts in regard to what I have seen unfold over the past two weeks. I also have a story to tell and some words of encouragement for those that still feel in despair.
The fish tank
The best way I have come up with a way to describe our country is a fish tank. And it is a dirty one. Before the election everything was a bit calmer. People thought Clinton was for surely going to win, even me. The water in the tank was looking clean for the most part. What people didn’t realize is that it has been a long time since the water has been cleaned. There was poop building up on the bottom. Once we learned of the election results the water was stirred up and the poop started floating to the top. We could see it now. We could see that our country was dirty. It seems that the people who really were hateful towards other people were now given the right to speak up about it, and speak up they did.
My personal experience
Of course there are stories in the media about all the hate that has shown up since the election but I heard something that I didn’t think would be this close to home. I think it was either Thursday or Friday after the election. I was driving for Uber and I picked up a woman from a well known health food grocery store. I could tell by her name that she was Indian even before I saw her. She gets in and I could tell she was worn out. She asked if we could stop at a Starbucks on the way to her destination because she had worked all day at the check stand. I said of course. She then proceeded to tell me that she just found out that her dad died that day in India. I said I was sorry to hear that, but it gets worse. She had a really bad day. She then started to tell me about how a customer was really rude to her as she checked her items. The lady tried to pay with a gift card but there was no money on it. The lady accused her of stealing the money and told her to go back to where she came from. She told her that she knew that is what her type of people did, they stole things from others. Apparently the lady thought she was Mexican and told her to go back to Mexico where she belongs. Eventually the manager had to come over and handle this rude lady and her unacceptable behavior. We then got to talking about the election and how it really rattled the country in many different ways. I gave her my theory that these people have been like this with or without Trump winning the election and the stuff is just floating to the surface for us to see. I also said that that lady has her own issues to deal with now. She gets to go home and think about her actions and I would hope that she would see her own faults in the situation and possibly correct them. My passenger agreed and thanked me for listening and chatting with her about it. She even offered to buy me a Starbucks, but alas I don’t drink coffee.
Clean up time
We can see the poop in the water, and it will probably settle again but I hope that it doesn’t so we can clean it up. Trump has already reversed some of his campaign promises but we as a nation need to come together to peacefully deal with issues that are heavy on our hearts. I was seeing a lot of social media posts from people who are passionate about changing the world for the better and I have seen it drop off a bit lately. I would encourage anyone that has strong feelings about racial issues, bigotry, sexism, disrespecting women, and homophobia to keep posting about that and keeping the awareness alive. Don’t let these people get away with hateful behavior which is driven by fear. Fill the world with love if you can. If you can’t seem to spread love and good vibes to the people around you maybe you should start with your self. Once you look within yourself and love your self entirely you will then be able to fill your reservoir of love so that it can spread out to the rest of the world around you. We all have inner work to do for our own good whether we realize it or not and I believe the Universe is not going to wait around anymore for us to realize it. This is an important time on our planet. We are all in this together. Don’t be afraid to reach out and ask for help from healers, angels, the Universe, or anyone for that matter. Once you have an intention to make things better in your life the Universe will show you the way. That way may not seem good at first but it will be a better path than the one you were on. We can all pitch in to clean up the tank. What will you do?
Fake news
It is very interesting to me that this whole notion of fake news has come up recently in the mainstream media. To me the mainstream media is not news at all and it is just a way to feed us with information so that we go along with the agenda of the global elite. They choose to not report on things that should be reported on. They choose their content that they show their viewers based on what the owners of the media companies say they are allowed to show. The government feeds them information like it should be believed. I don’t trust them one bit. And sure they will show you a positive story here and there but the real damage occurs when they show stories that are biased and fear based. It seems that Syria is the only country that I hear about outside the US. There is an agenda there and I hope you see it. Yeah there are horrible things happening there, but there are horrible things happening all over the planet that are not covered. Be aware that the global elite makes money off of wars and war is what they want but they need the support of the masses. Don’t buy into it. Bring our troops home and stop the killing of all people is what I say. And in general the elite divides the world more than most realize as I have talked about in this past post. Division is what keeps those in power in control.
So there you have it.. Go out and make a positive difference in the world, stomp out hate, end racism, treat women with respect, and love our LGBTQ community for who they are. Don’t let anyone divide you from someone else. We are all humans on this planet and can live happily in harmony with one another if we all gave a little more effort.
